We, at Kiran Consultants, are a team of Hydro-Geologists and Environmental Engineers highly trained and enthusiastic in carrying out sustainability studies on keys issues of water and waste management.
C.M.Kulkarni
Pradeep as he is known by his friends, founded this company in 1980. He has completed his Master’s in Geology from Bangalore University in 1978. Since then he has been involved with various projects with the Dept. of Mines & Geology, Karnataka, Government of Goa, etc. His other interests include Bridge, where he is the General Secretary of Bridge Federation of India and a two time national level champion.
Vijay Kumar Kulkarni
Mr. Vijay Kumar Kulkarni is one of the key members with over 26 years of experience in civil consultancy and PMC . He completed B.E CIVIL in the year 1987. Presently working as head of Civil & PMC dept.
Tejas Kulkarni
Tejas has his interest in evolving the company into a think-hub for giving apt solutions to the muti-dimesional environmental problems. He is currently a doctoral candidate enrolled at the Department of Hydrology and Substance Balance, University of Kassel, Germany. He has completed his Masters in Water Environment Managament at the Leibniz University, Germany and a master’s in Climate Change & Sustainable Environments from the Centre for Environmental Planning & Technology (CEPT), Ahmedabad. He has since then worked in fields of integrated water management as a researcher. His other interests include White water Kayaking, where he is a certified rescue technician.
Vishwas Vidyaranya
Vishwas is a Biotechnology Engineer with a vast experience in the field of Solid Waste Management. He worked with the Green Initiatives team in Infosys and was in-charge of Solid waste Management across their campuses. He has implemented over 4300 Ton per annum capacity waste treatment systems in India apart from research projects on Anaerobic Digestion, Microbial Fuel Cells, Pyrolysis, Recycling and Sludge Treatment. He has worked with several municipalities in India and now works closely with the Electronic City Township, Bangalore. Vishwas has conducted feasibility studies for Solid Waste Management in many municipalities such as Katra-Vaishno Devi, Mantralaya and worked with several organizations and NGOs in Bangalore. He has delivered key note address in many national and international conferences on waste management and has 3 International publications 2 pending patents, many strategy and policy documents to his credit.
Sripad Hegde
He is the principal Geo-physicist of the company bringing in over 35 years of experience in the field. He has worked in various internationally funded geological projects all over South India. His humbleness is surely depicts his earthly knowledge and passion for environmental studies.
Dr.L.G.Santosh
Dr. L.G.Santosh is a key member in the team with a wide range of expertise in Environmental management. He is associated as a Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Civil Engineering in M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore India. He completed his PhD from the Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore in 2017, and has a masters degree in remote sensing and GIS from NIT, Surathkal. His research interests include integrated watershed management through remote sensing and GIS environments, solid waste management and landfill engineering. He has many peer-reviewed publications in the above fields and shares his knowledge and experience through various workshops.
Ravi Kumar Kalal
Ravi Kumar Kalal is a M.Sc graduate on Water Environment & Management from the Leibniz Univeristat, Hannover. He specialises in design of biological waste water treatment systems. He has previously worked as a senior project engineer at the Centre for Dewats Dissemination (CDD) and has implemented waste water treatment plants for apartments, residential layouts, SME’s etc. He holds a B.Tech degree in civil engineering from NIT-K, Surathkal.
Lakshman
Acting as the Senior Technical Project Manager, Lakshman has been with the company for the past 20 years. His expertise lies in the borewell drilling, recharge wells, construction and his experience in the industry makes him a valuable asset to our organization.
Narayan
Narayana is the most energetic yet composed member of our team. He works as the head of the services division for Kiran Borewells. His familiarity with most of equipment around the office makes him irreplaceable element in our team
Manju
Manju is the newest member of this hydro family. His zeal and passion to work in difficult environments brings in critical expertise into our field work.
